Twin Lakes Rehab and Healthcare Center is currently looking for a full time Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Control Specialist/Staff Development to assist with leading our nursing team! Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Control Specialist/Staff Development:
Registered Nurse (RN) with effective leadership & supervisory skills in a long-term care setting
Certification needed
Must have knowledge of state and federal regulations
Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) Infection Control Specialist/Staff Development:
Report all reportable diseases to the county and state health departments
Assist with in-services on wound prevention, wound care, ostomy care, and incontinence for the nursing staff.
Participate in planning, conducting, and scheduling in-service training classes for CNAs/GNAs and any other nursing personnel that provide instructions on how to do the job, and ensure a well-educated nursing service department.
Assist in standardizing the methods in which work will be accomplished.
Assist in training department personnel in identifying tasks that involve potential exposure to blood or body fluids.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
