Function (Scope and Main Purpose of Job) The Promotions & Special Events Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and being the focal point for promotions and special events at Live! Casino.
Position will be characterized as the be all, do all for all promotions and events.
The Coordinator will perform special projects at the direction of the Promotions & Special Events Manager.
Successful promotions and special events are an integral part of Live! Casino being the #1 regional gaming and entertainment

FUN:
Work passionately as a team to create a FUN experience both for everyone who works and plays here Specific Responsibilities and Duties Run point during the execution of the promotions and special events.
Responsible for implementing and monitoring all promotions and special events to ensure consistent and effective implementation and positive response.
Coordinates with all departments on all tournaments, promotions, parties, special events, and giveaways to produce all the necessary items for the specific marketing program.
Works with department's budget and financial data.
Communicating details of marketing programs to all departments, corporate, and partner companies.
Assists with holiday events, and community development programs.
Meet with any outside partners to coordinate joint marketing programs.
Ensure correct staffing at each marketing program.
Adhere with the company core values as stated above.
Practice and demonstrate superior guest service.
Ability to extend complimentaries in accordance with the property comp matrix.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements (skills, knowledge, and abilities) Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the State Gaming Agency for the position.
Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.
Ability to solve complex problems.
Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures and deadlines in an interruptive environment.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications.
Ability to work a flexible and irregular schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
Educational Requirements A four (4)-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in special events and promotions in a high-volume hospitality business.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the State Gaming Agency for the position.
Physical Requirements 24/7 operation requiring extended hours and the ability and willingness meet the applicant's schedules when needed.
Casino is over 100,000 square feet and requires ability and energy to move about it with a true sense of urgency.
Use of going up and down 31 stairs multiple times per day and elevators Working Conditions 24/7 high energy casino with over 100,000 sq.
ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 500 employees Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
You may occasionally work in an environment where smoking is allowed.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
