Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Route Sales & Service Apprentice to join our team.
The apprentice will assist in the sales and service of our products to existing and potential customers.
This is an entry-level role designed to provide hands-on training and experience in the route sales and service industry.
Responsibilities:
Accompany experienced sales representatives on their daily routes to learn about the sales and service process.
Learn how to establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Assist in the delivery, restocking, and merchandising of our products in accordance with company standards.
Learn how to effectively sell and promote our products to increase sales and market share.
Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and deliver excellent customer service.
Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of company vehicle and equipment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
Basic math skills for inventory management and cash handling.
Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Previous experience in route sales or customer service.
Familiarity with the territory and customer base.
Knowledge of our products and the broader industry.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
