2K a year Leads strategic communications planning and development to grow First Commonwealth's brand awareness and demonstrate the commitment to our mission of improving financial lives.
Prepares articles and press releases for distribution to media.
Monitors media coverage and prepares monthly and quarterly media reports summarizing First Commonwealth's frequency and type of media coverage.
Manages media monitoring third party relationship.
Proactively establishes First Commonwealth as a Financial Confidence subject matter expert with media through media exposure, communications with key members of the media and organizations/associations that have an interest in financial industry.
Develops strategy to leverage community development work in earned media opportunities.
Collaborates with media agencies to further leverage paid opportunities for earned brand exposure.
Identifies internal subject matter experts and determines plan to proactively position them as media resources for all lines of business including business, mortgage, Advisors and insurance.
Prepares strategic communications, speeches, presentations and scripts for use by leadership.
Identifies opportunities for strategic internal communications and manages employee communications for voice and content.
Drives ongoing improvements to distribution of company communications, both internally and externally.
Supports oversight of company Intranet including design, navigation, and content; keeps content updated, relevant and in brand voice.
Plans and executes corporate meetings and events, taking an active role as needed.
Essential Job Responsibilities__________________________________ 1.
Assists in development of communications that position First Commonwealth's image in a positive and community-oriented way.
2.

Manages press contacts and develops relationships with new contacts as needed 4.
Monitors media coverage and prepares monthly media reports summarizing First Commonwealth's frequency and type of media coverage.

Contributes to innovation of new ways to distribute company communications, both internally and externally.

Supports oversight of company Intranet including design, navigation, and content; keeps content updated and relevant.

Plans and executes corporate meetings and events, taking an active role as needed.
12.
Coordinates companywide conference calls.
Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications___________________________ 1.
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
2.
A minimum of six (6) years related experience required.
3.
Excellent organization skills with ability to stay in front of deadlines are necessary.
4.
Must display robust written and verbal communication with the ability to simplify complex material and communicate it to appropriate audiences in a clear, concise and memorable manner.
5.
A valid driver's license and regional travel are required.
6.
May be eligible for Telecommuting.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
