Responsibilities:
- Oversee the receiving department and manage all aspects of the receiving process - Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods - Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality - Maintain accurate inventory records and update the system accordingly - Collaborate with team leaders to ensure proper allocation and distribution of received goods - Develop and implement strategies to optimize the receiving process and improve efficiency - Resolve any issues or discrepancies with shipments or deliveries - Monitor and maintain a safe working environment in the receiving area Requirements:
- Proven experience as a receiving or purchasing manager or in a similar role - Excellent negotiation and contract negotiation skills - Ability to source new suppliers and manage vendor relationships effectively -Understanding of Microsoft office and basic computer skills, - Proficient in Excel , Sharepoint or database software a Plus.
- Experience with Accounting software i,e, Quickbooks, Sage Etc.
- Proficient in using inventory management systems and software - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Job Type:
