We are seeking a dedicated Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team.
The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in all aspects of family law cases, from initial client intake to final resolution.
Duties:
- Conduct legal research on various family law matters - Assist in drafting legal documents, including pleadings and motions - Manage and organize case files and documents - Interview clients to gather case information - Transcribe legal documents and correspondence - Utilize document management systems such as iManage - Provide administrative support to attorneys - Maintain communication with clients and provide updates on case progress
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Paralegal in family law preferred - Proficiency in legal administrative tasks - Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Ability to conduct thorough legal research - Familiarity with document management systems - Experience in transcribing legal documents accurately - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys in a dynamic legal environment.
