This person should have prior automotive or manufacturing payroll processing experience that included paying people by piece work or flat rate.
Must understand the payroll laws of the PA and the Federal Department of Labor.
The payroll specialist will be responsible for processing the payroll accurately and timely, meeting all deadlines required.
The candidate must possess strong numerical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality of all payroll and Human Resource information they come in contact with.
The candidate must be able to work in a very quick paced atmosphere while maintaining a excellent attitude with all the employees and managers.
Must be able to multi-task and enjoy a challenge.
The person will also be working with the accounting department to ensure accurate recording of payroll transactions and balancing accounting schedules after payroll is posted.
Knowledge of CDK DMS is preferred and knowledge of ADP Workforce now is a must.
