Office Manager

Execute tasks and responsibilities for the day-to-day operation of the business including but not limited to receptionist, bookkeeping, filing, cleaning, organizing, restocking, ordering, shipping, receiving, running errands and other general office management related tasks. Salary range $22K -$28K plus benefits including health, disability, profit sharing, vacation, parking, and more.
1. Work self-directed managing responsibilities, work schedule, tasks, priorities, and work load.
2. Follow company standards, policies and procedures.
3. Treat customers and fellow employees with courtesy, respect and excellence always.
4. Answer phones, take messages, enter tasks and serve as the hub of staff and customer communications.
5. Manage books including A/R, A/P & P/R and employee HR, time keeping and expense records.
6. Complete and file taxes, government, insurance and employment related documents, audit forms, etc.
7. File and organize physical and electronic documents.
8. Keep the office clean and organized, supplies ordered and stocked and arrange for and oversee contractors when needed for repairs and general maintenance.
9. Handle orders and returns of IT hardware, shipping and receiving and inventory management of same.
10. Run errands to post office, bank, etc. including client sites as needed.
11. Coordinate staff schedules and meetings, plan events such as company parties, make reservations, etc.
12. Other similar tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
1. Good interpersonal communication skills able to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
2. Well organized and able to multi-task managing several concurrent tasks and priorities.
3. Able to follow oral and written instructions, ask questions and document interactions.
4. Able to clearly articulate verbally and in writing problems, activities, solutions, procedures, and methodologies.
5. Experience with bookkeeping and general accounting activities including G/L, A/R, A/P, & P/R.
6. Competent with Microsoft Office Software including Outlook, Word, Excel & Access.
7. Physically able to execute duties and responsibilities of the job including climbing stairs and carrying moderate weight packages such as computers, monitors, power supplies, shoveling snow, taking out garbage, etc.
8. PA Driver's license, reliable transportation and ability to follow work schedule.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
